…….doesn’t exist. It is not possible to turn off identity formation. It’s always happening. Everything forms, and you are always forming. Technically, even when you are sleeping and your subconscious continues to process and churn, you are subconsciously forming ideas and ultimately identity.
You don’t stop forming.
