What image comes to mind or an even better question, who comes to mind?  I heard those words today as I watched a documentary.  I immediately wondered whether it was a good idea or not to have an ad hoc father.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing.  Whether it was a coach or a teacher, we could count ourselves fortunate to have our father and even an ad hoc father.  I know many that don’t have either.  We all need that kind of support.  Maybe you can be that for someone.  I am very thankful for mine.
