Have you ever done this? Talking to a machine – is just not the same as talking to another voice on the other end. It will more than likely end in frustration – which will make it just that much more pleasant when I do get someone on the line.
I never realized how emotional talking to a machine was. I mean, I seemingly had a conversation with a machine, and when the machine couldn’t help me, I wanted to get mad it – but it’s a machine. It wouldn’t care how frustrated I am because it’s a machine. Sometimes – it’s the same way when I’m talking to a person – they have been mechanized. It’s like talking to a machine. I wonder what I could learn about you if I understood the psychology of anticipation. I wonder what I would learn about myself if I understood anticipation. There is an intrinsic motivation or power about the future. Anticipation pulls you along. Anticipation pushes you forward, and the thing is, no matter what the outcome whether it is positive or negative – the feeling, the experience is powerful. It could be a strong excitement or an irritating waiting, but either way it is a pretty emotional experience.
Does anticipation help? Does someone that lives in anticipation live better lives than those that don’t? One thing is for sure, it wouldn’t be a boring life.
I wonder what the physiology of anticipation looks like. What happens in the brain? What sectors of the brain go crazy when someone is in anticipation?
I don’t have any answers, but I would like to find them. If you can help me at all-if you have some expertise in Anticipation, please point me in a direction and help me. I anticipate it.
