American Idol Fast #AmericanIdol

I haven’t watched any American Idol this season.  I heard about it a little this morning on talk radio, but I tuned into talk radio to hear about the Oscars – not American Idol.  We normally watch some of it – even just a little of it.  Not this season.  I can’t even tell you why, but I can tell that it has been soooooo nice to not have to keep up with the drama (because you know that we all need Drama).  In fact, the Oscars happened last night.  I was talking with a friend about how back in his home country, the Oscars weren’t such a big deal.  Maybe as Americans we need more drama than the other parts of the world.  Anyway, no Idol for me – at least this season.

The Oscars

I am watching The Oscars – in like 2 hours without any commercial interruptions.  It’ll be so nice to just fly thru the commercials.  I have been conditioned.  I have been dvr – conditioned.  I can’t watch it live because it almost bothers me – commercials bother me.  I can’t help it.  So I will be 2 hours behind on all the tweets – not that I’m going to watch Twitter as the Oscars go on, but almost all events have a twitter stream that you can watch.   Of course, I have to wait 2 hours to see if they are showing anyone’s tweets.

In other news – I called this post The Oscars, but this post has nothing to do with the Oscars.  It has to do with me not liking commercials.
