A Thought Place

There is nothing new under the sun – Ecclesiastes tells me so.  Anything that I’ve written has already been thought in the previous epoch of time (I’m not sure I’ve ever written the word epoch in a sentence before).  Read Ecclesiastes.

I don’t know how to describe it, but I love a new Thought Place – you know – that place in your mind that you’ve never been before; a place that you have either never allowed yourself to go or just a place that you didn’t know existed.  It’s not to say that that thought has never been thought before – Ecclesiastes tells me that it has, but they might be places that I have never been too.

I am on the flight home from a trip; from where I grew up no less.  It was great to drive down streets that I had never driven down before, and I have driven all over that island.  Sometimes it’d be a place that I remembered, but ended up seeing something completely different.

It helps me to handle an idea.  Thinking of a thought – thinking without any space or presence – as a place allows me to jump into them and out of them.  It allows me to travel – in my own space.  Quite simple, but beautiful for me.

I’m definitely not sure if I communicated this exactly as I thought about it.
