It’s such a simple idea, but fruit takes time.  I know that it’s easy for me to talk about the fruit of my labor, but fruit takes time.  There’s no such thing as instant fruit.  True fruit – takes time to create and then grow.

I was reading Ed’s book still – here’s a previous post about it – and he wasn’t really talking about it in this way, but for whatever reason, my mind fixated on the idea of bearing fruit.  The Bible talks about it all the time – but I never think about the process and time that it takes to bear fruit.  Fruit takes time.  Bearing fruit includes a process.  I know – simple, but let it grow – it’ll come to fruition.
