You can google it to get the full story. Here’s the one article that I looked at. The are universities that are banning it because of some IT issues. What is it with IT departments? Of course it’s Apple’s fault – I’m sure Apple will fix that soon enough.
I’m pretty excited though to see how this will change Higher Education – and those in Higher Ed better get ready for it. Students will be using the iPad as their textbook reader. It’ll be the only “book” they bring to class. They’ll be able to take notes and check out their textbook all from one iPad. We better get ready.
