Pithy Quotes

I call them pithy quotes and many of them are. I recently asked a friend for all of his pithy quotes. I’ve always enjoyed them. I remember some of them from when we were in college – almost 20 years ago. Recently, I asked him to send me some of them. Quotes that he would use in conversation. These quotes sometimes meant nothing, and somehow, in some weird way, meant everything at the same time. Here are some of them.

“The law is reason free from passion.”
– Aristotle

“It takes Courage to Grow up and Become who you Really Are”
– CC Cummings

“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
– Gandhi

“To be young and conservative is to have no heart. To be old and liberal is to have no mind.”
– Winston Churchill

“Do what others wont … Have what others don’t.”
– UNKNOWN

“The key is to allow yourself to make the journey.”
– Edward Renald

Ah. I love pithy quotes. Some of them makes me think. Some of them just crack me up. All of them challenge and it is great when I’m able to use them to help someone.

You got any pithy quotes that you like? Please share them. I’d love to hear them.

His name is spelled GANDHI not Ghandi. Ghandi actually has a bad meaning in his own mother tongue. SO unless you meant to call the man crazy – you need to spell his name right.

I definitely don’t mean to call him crazy. Thanks for the insight. I’ll definitely be changing that right now.
