Coaching the Team or Coaching Himself

Coaches can coach for them team or coach for himself.

In the first instance – when the team wins, the time wins.

In the second instance – when the team wins, the coach wins.

In the first instance – when the team loses, the team loses – but the coach takes responsibility and isn’t all emotional about the loss.

In the second instance – when the team loses, the coach loses and therefore loses it.  They have lost, not the team.

It’s just different.
