Do you have a LinkedIn.com profile.  You can check mine out here.  A good friend of mine told – who wasn’t all that into social networks or social media – decided to actually check out his linkedin profile to find a job.  He was telling me that he was amazed to see the connections that he had – acquaintances that were directly connected with each other.  One connection led to another.  It was just friends reconnecting, and the story is quite amazing – he gets a job opportunity – a quite significant and substantial opportunity compared to the last job.  It can work.

So to all of my students that had to develop a linkedin.com profile – keep working on it.  Learn how to project your ideal self.  Learn how to project a hire able self so when it’s time to get a job – you’ve already done the work.  Let me know if you need help.
