Have you ever seen the NBC show by the same name? It’s such an interesting show – to watch celebrities investigate their past and learn where they came from.
It’s incredible to watch them process through the stories of their past. It’s interesting to watch them tear through learning about their grandparents and great-grandparents. They’re celebrities now, but their past reveal to them who they are.
It’s a huge commercial for ancestry.com, but the stories are fascinating. I’d be so interested to learn about my past – to know where I came from. It’d be interesting to learn where I came from and line that up with who I am. You think you know who you are and where you came from, but you can always learn more about yourself. Knowing where you come from is part of your identity formation.
