Working on your identity is deep soul work. On the one hand, identity work deals with the clothes that you wear, the positions that you have, and the way that you project your identity. That’s the easy stuff.
On the other hand, identity is the reforming of the deep and sometimes painful formative aspects of your past – including those things that you had no control over – your parents divorce, the abuse you endured, and the names you were called.
The stuff that you control – easy.
The stuff that you had no control over – hard.
Identity work is deep soul work.
