As much as publishers sound like they’re about education and teaching you – they’re about publishing. Publishers publish. Educators educate. Books are produced to sell. Don’t get me wrong. I buy a ton of books. I have a ton of books – it might actually weigh a ton. But books are so filled with stuff that will sell – not necessarily stuff that teaches.
But on the rare occasion that you find that book that is just filled with gems – ah – then you’ve scored. Finding a book that teaches is not the norm.
