The Truth and Speaking

I remember a saying that a really good friend taught me – when I was in high school.  It had to do with Truth and Speaking.  The line was: when you speak, you should always speak the truth, but when you know the truth, you don’t always have to speak.

I’ve known the saying for years, but I am still learning nuances of that line.  It’s a pretty powerful statement as well as a statement that has power.

What do you think – and tell me the truth.  I understand though if you don’t speak.
