I know what I mean when I say “I love you” to my wife.
I know what I mean when I say “I love you” to my parents.
I know what I mean when I say “I love you” to my brothers and sisters.
I know what I mean when I say “I love you” to Jesus.
I know what I mean when I say “I love you” most of the time.

But I just learned what I mean when I say “I love you” to my guy friends. I realized that I had this fear of saying it to my guy friends. When I say “I love you” to them, I mean that I will support them and care for them through it all. I’m ashamed of myself to realize that I have been afraid of saying it. How lame? I need to start to do it more though.
