I watched a video of a presentation that Tom Peters gave – educate for a creative society.  It had to do with some creative thinking and how leaders think out of the box.  He gave out a rule for hiring people – don’t ever hire someone with a gpa of 4.0 he says.  They follow the rules.  They think inside of the box.  We have an educational system that teaches students to color within the lines.  We teach them to follow the rules – to be normal – to be mediocre.  Well, I think I might not be completely representing him well so here’s the video.  Watch it for yourself.
