Great Ideas

What makes an idea a great idea? Does it matter that others think that it’s a great idea? Or does it only matter that you think it’s a great idea? What’s the difference between a good idea and a great idea?

I do know that an idea that isn’t shared might be either a great idea or good idea, but it stays with one person. Then I think, is it a great idea even if it’s not shared? Does it have to be shared in order for it to become a great idea? The more I think about whether it’s a good idea or great idea, I realize that it really doesn’t matter much if it’s not shared – my opinion.

A good idea, if shared with friends, is then open to feedback from friends and they can make a good idea a great one. One that starts off as a great idea and not shared only stays in one’s mind – which consequently is not a great idea – not that the great idea is not a great idea, but more so that a great idea not shared is not the great idea.

I am making an assumption that even though one can have a great idea that isn’t shared, that not sharing the idea makes is not a great idea. I think an idea that is shared is the best idea whether it’s a good or great idea. I just think it’s a great idea to share your ideas.

I just shared an idea. What’s yours?
