Just Write, Just Blog

First of all, thank you for reading this.  I have enjoyed writing, and I appreciate you reading my ideas as I try to work some of them out – so thank you.

Second, I have talked to some of you this week about starting a blog.  You know who you are.  Please, please, please (thank you Kyle Kerchner) – start writing.  It doesn’t matter what.  In fact, it doesn’t even have to be perfect.  Just write.  Start writing – start with what you’ve already written.  Okay so instead of just write, I guess for some of you – just post.  You’ve already written the stuff out – just post it now.  Start a blog.  Start write.

You may not have anything to write.  You may not have any ideas.  You might not know what to write about.  So what?  Why you letting that stop you.  Start a blog where you rip on all of my posts – just make sure you link my idea to your post where you’re ripping it apart.  Start one where you just respond to other people’s post.  Start one where you cook through the recipes of Julia Childs and then blog about how it goes (I never saw the movie so I am not sure if that’s how it goes).  Start one where you talk about your day – how much you loved it; how much you’ve hated it.

To tell you the truth, I’m just starting to find my voice.  If you look at the bottom of this blog – you’ll see a Tag Cloud of the things that I’ve been writing about.  I’m still trying to figure out what I am trying to say.  If you want to start one, but don’t know how, click here or here.  Once you’ve started one, let me know.  I want to follow you.  I want to read your ideas.  If you have one already, please leave a comment and let me know if it – I am already following some of you.

Write.  Share your ideas.  Connect and stimulate conversation.

Kyle? Oh, I’m not sure yet. He was a student at the college that when he would pray – would ask God – please, please, please. I’ll forward it to you when I know it.

Lem, I just love you, brother. You encourage and inspire me to keep on keeping on, and seeking my voice that God has placed within me. I cannot thank you enough. Blessings to you and DC, for all that you do and are~
