Presencelessness

This has to do with living a less mediated life.  (You gotta love the irony of this idea coming through a blog post though).

What I’m talking about is presence.  Not the ability necessarily to be present, but this idea of where your presence lies.  You can sit in a room full of people – listening to an incredible speaker, but not be there.

It’s so easy for our presencelessness to manifest itself because of all of these tools that allow us to leave a place without actually moving.  I like that = leaving without moving.  With the internet in our pockets, it’s easy to do it.

Be present.
