I looked up the definition of No and it said that it was a lake in South Sudan. Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, but you learn something new everyday. Honestly, I looked it up because I wanted to know the plural noun form of no and evidently it’s “noes.”
I listened to to a talk today where the speaker was saying that when you say “yes” to something that it automatically means that you have to say a thousand noes to other things.
Say yes to a diet – and it means a thousand noes to many other things.
Say yes to exercise – and it means a thousand noes to not exercising.
Say yes to a job – and it means a thousand noes when it comes to not working.
One yes also equals a thousand noes. Not a bad lesson no? I guess a sub-point is to understand what you’re saying yes to – because in doing so, it automatically means a thousand noes.
