All aspects of your life finds its foundation in your personal development.  Think about you – your leadership development finds its foundation in your personal development.  Your business life, your professional life, your academic life – all finds its foundation in your personal development.

What I mean by your personal development is the development of your spiritual, emotional, psychological, moral, and so many other aspects of your deeper truest self.  All other personas and roles that you play will grow as you develop and grow in your personal development.

Find people that will invest in you – the deep, and true you.  Find those people that will see through all of your junk and call you on the stuff that holds you back.  As I write this, I think of the people that invest into me.  And here’s the thing – you have to find those people.  I know it means asking someone to invest in you – but that’s the stuff that you have to do to grow.  So pay for the coaching.  Go to that seminar.  Attended that conference.  Surround yourself with the things that will grow you.  Will you please invest in me?
