Who Owns Your Soul?

According to this article, a particular game store in the UK might own it.  You can read the article and you will notice that they put an “immortal soul” clause.  They added it to the terms and conditions of an online sale.  Well, let me tell you what the article says so that you don’t have to read it.

88% of the customers no longer legally own their own soul – the game company does.  Only 12% opted out of the clause – they got the game and a 5 GBP voucher.

Next time you click accept on an online sale or signing up for your next social media profile, make sure that you don’t give away your soul.
