Desire for Depth

When was the last time you had a conversation with someone – who desired depth?  Not that they were complaining about the shallow and surface-like connections that we have – they just craved depth – depth in relationships – depth in knowledge – depth in relationships – depth in love – depth in thought.

I think I have a conversation like this daily.  It’s not like I have answers for anyone.  I’m on the journey myself.  I believe though that this desire for depth will come as we explore the depth of our souls.  As we delve into the depths of our being and the depths of our soul – first – that gives us context to handle the depth in all of those other areas.

The desire for depth comes from exploring the depths of who we are.
