The 7 foot 7 NBA player died today. He spent 10 seasons in the NBA. Even though he was tall, he didn’t have much of an offense. He could block shots, and kinda got pushed around by other players despite his height. Although his identity was in the fact that he was an NBA player that was very tall and from Sudan, what most of the articles that I read about him tonight highlights the most was that he was a humanitarian.
He gave his money to Sudanese freedom fighters, build charities, and sent alot of his money home. He did whatever it took to send money home. He found his identity in all of these things, but what most write about was his humanitarian self. Rest in peace Manute Bol.
