Those are 2 identity markers for me.  It stood out to me when I wrote it in an e mail this morning.  I guess technically I could add Lem Usita ’91, and I hope to add Lem Usita ’10 as another identity marker.  I don’t know why it fascinates me to look at that.  I think maybe because it marks such huge accomplishments in my life, but then it also identifies me with something.  It identifies me with 2 academic institutions.  It identifies me as an alumnus.  I don’t get to write it much.  I don’t use it often.  It’s amazing what an apostrophe and 2 numbers can signify.
