Your Facebook Self

I just read an article that basically says that Facebook blurs the line between our real self and our digital self.  There is no blur.  Your real self is you and your digital self is also you.  The caveat might be that your digital self is not completely you, but there’s no blurring.

Of course your Facebook self might be the more bold or fancier version of you, but it’s still something that you created.  You are able to influence the perception of you through your Facebook self, but it still represents you.

It’s not blurry, just incomplete.
