I’ve written about First World Problems before.  I hear people talk about first world problems, but what do we really know about first world problems.  We talk about first world problems to give us perspective on how well we have it and how much we complain.

I have only been to about a dozen third world countries.  I was born in one.  I’ve seen people in third world countries that are quite happy.

I wonder why this idea keeps coming up for me.  I think about it and it really has an impact on me.

I have a great life.  I complain about #firstworldproblems.  I write about it so that you might keep me accountable.  I write about it so that when you see me complain, that you would say something about it.  Remind me – in a loving and gentle way.
