So we were talking about this at a meeting today.  We were talking about how our area was full of single people.  I responded with a resounding – no way.

Then I was corrected and educated on this idea that “single” can also mean “single again.”  I guess since I don’t have little children or any kids for that matter, I don’t really interact with too many single again folks.  Evidently, they’re everywhere in suburbia.  Learn something new about identity in suburbia – I should start a new series of identities in suburbia.

Just so you know – so you don’t make a fool of yourself – whenever someone says single – they could mean “single again.”  And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with single again – just don’t be so insensitive like me.
