Your Parent’s Interpersonal Problems

…..are typically passed on to you, or at the very least has shaped you.

Whether you know it or not – whether you like it or not – you have been conditioned to deal with their interpersonal problems.  I’m not sharing this to pass on the blame to my parents.  They couldn’t help it.  It’s not like they set out to do this to us.  It happens.

There are 3 common responses to your parent’s interpersonal problems: Identification, Compliance, or Rebellion.  Either way, you have to respond to it.  If you want more information, I’ll give you the source, but seeing as this is my blog and not an academic paper – I’m not gonna.  Learned that from someone.  Hahaha.
