My People

All over Scripture, different individuals would advocate for their people. Moses, David, Esther, Daniel, and even Jesus prayed for and advocated for “my people.” They cried out to God and ask that “my people” would be spared or that “my people” be protected. Their national and ethnic identities are tied into the fact that they belonged to a certain group of people – “my people.”

Who would I consider “my people?”
