I’ve been listening to this song that has really capture my heart, and the chorus goes like this:

My life’s yours
I’m decided
My heart’s yours
Undivided

The bridge goes:

You told me come and I’m gonna run
I gotta move on-I won’t stay here another day
You called out my name and I’m not the same now

My heart just resonates with this idea of being called and running toward it. It’s easy to say that I want to give my life to Him, but sometimes my actions and thoughts don’t line up. My real self (identity) and the functional self (projected identity) doesn’t always match up. I guess that’s why we are all in the process of our identity formation. The real self and functional self doesn’t always match up – maybe I should blog about what I mean by that.
