It is quick book review night. Once again, the reviews aren’t that long, and it’s not super comprehensive. It’s just simple.
Ignore Everybody is a book by Hugh MacLeod. If you click on the title, it’ll take you to his website. He’s a cartoonist that started drawing cartoons on the back of business cards. He has created a genre of art. He chronicles his adventures and corresponding cartoons on the back of these cards. He shares the lessons on creativity and life. I enjoyed the variety of emotions and journey through his experiences. For me, the over arching take away was – to be yourself – to unapologetically take responsibility and control. In some ways, he shows me that ignoring everybody helps me to create an environment conducive for creativity.
