A Great Place to Try It Out

Blogging is a great place to try stuff out – especially for a verbal processor like me.  I mean, I’m not actually saying it out loud, but I’m processing these ideas.  It helps me.  It’s a seemingly safe place to try out stuff and get ideas out.

The thing is, I really have no idea who reads this stuff.  Most times, I just write stuff for me – things that I’m thinking or pondering.  It has become a matter of public domain, and as such, it becomes a matter of public opinion.  It’s alright though.  If someone’s out to get you – they’re out to get you.  There is always a chance of someone reading into the idea or reading whatever they want out of your idea, and since it’s written out, they can pretty much attack it.  That’s alright though.  That says more about them than it does me.

I was thinking about this today though.  Sometimes I’m working out ideas.  I know as readers you can’t tell – always.  I may not even believe the ideas at all, but this becomes part of me working them out.

Whether you’re hear to join the journey or thwart it – Welcome!!!!  Thanks for coming along – in either case.  Too bad you can’t see the heart.

Are you blogging?  How do you work out your ideas?

Lem – I make people mad all the time by processing verbally, There have been many times I have not given this disclaimer: “I am attacking your idea, not you.” (I am giving it more often now, I realize when I don’t give it, I really should carry a tissue box with me.)

Also I love the processing part, the friction – its almost necessary oddly.

I like the attacking your idea not you concept. I think it’s important to process, but it’s also important to not frustrate people.
