What is right for us here – in this country, in this culture – might not necessarily make any sense to people in other parts of the world. You may hold on to some cultural biases that you might not even know you have – until you go somewhere else where they do things “backwards” or so YOU think.
Just because I believe something to be right for me – here – doesn’t make it right for everyone else in the world. Right is “right” here, but might be “wrong” in one place and “left” somewhere else.
I guess the bottom line is – it’s not about me. It’s not about what I think is “right.” It’s about being loving and treating others as humans – in a loving way – which consequently I think is “right.”
