In light – of the ambiguous nature of light, is truth really that ambiguous?
We are far away from the naive assumption of a direct link between our descriptions of the world and the world itself. Objectivity in theoretical physics gains a more subtle meaning. Whatever reality may mean, it is always connected with an active intellectual construction. The descriptions presented by the sciences cannot be detached from our asking activity.
