Culture of Opportunity

You have to check out Margaret Gould Stewart’s – How YouTube thinks about copyright.

She talks about YouTube has become so complex with who owns the content and what can happen on YouTube with the content.  She claims that YouTube has created a Culture of Opportunity, but that you can only capitalize on the opportunity if you use their Content Identification System – t0 let them know it’s your stuff.  Then by allowing your content to be used, you can possibly create opportunity.

YouTube cares about your rights, but they also don’t mind you or them making a few bucks as well.
