This past weekend, a friend of mine when to get some change to do some laundry.  The bank as closed so she had to go to the grocery store to get some change.  She got 2 rolls of quarters, and the person at the grocery store thanked her for being so nice to her that day.  My friend was just being nice to the checkout lady at the grocery store.

When she came back to the house, she told us the story of how she was just being nice to others and then she made a statement that was quite amazing.  She said, Isn’t it so sad that someone would thank you for being nice?  Just being nice to someone is something that isn’t expected much these days.  Be nice to someone today.
