Wikipedians

I was listening to a podcast today, and they were talking about Wikipedians – people that volunteer and spend time developing and writing wikipedia.com pages.  Tons of us use it, but only a small percent of online users develop and write pages for wikipedia.

These wikipedians write for free.  If you were to pay them the minimum wage for the amount of work that they did in the past year – they did 700 million dollars of work.

Thank you wikipedians for all of your hard work.
