This is another one of those posts – where I don’t know the answer.  I would be interested though in knowing the answer so if you know the answer, please help me understand.

I have not done the study, but I would assume that the shows that we watch reveal something about ourselves in that it reflects a piece of ourselves.  For whatever reason, we watch certain shows because it entertains us or we can connect with it in some way.  It affirms things that we either believe ourselves or wish could be true of us.

Even if it just entertained us, we choose it for a reason.  We choose it because we connect with it.
