Barry Schwartz wrote a book about the Paradox of Choice. I wrote a post about it – basically it says, watch his Ted talk about it.
He suggests that as we have more choices, it doesn’t make our lives easier. It makes making decisions much more difficult. I experienced this last night when we were at the pet store, and I happened to walk past the “clean your dog mess” aisle. It was almost enough to make me want to get rid of the dogs – not really, but I thought it.
I think we’re the only country in the world that has an industry based on picking up dog poop.
I’m sorry Barry for writing a post that will be tagged with your name and dog poop.
