I am sitting at Starbucks and some lady just walked by with the strongest smelling perfume. I have never thought about this, but we all have a certain smell about us that is a marker of identity – and I’m not just talking about whatever perfume or cologne you put on. Two people wearing the same perfume will react differently according to their body chemistry and give off a very different smell.

Have you ever heard of someone describing a smell as a particular someone? It is natural for us to connect our experiences with someone and their smell so that whenever you smell that thing – you think of them.

Almost all my memories of my grandparents are attaches to memory off their smell of them and the smell of there house.
