Identity and the Depths

We all have projected identities that allow us to function in life.  We play multiple roles.  It’s the ones that people interact with.

No matter what the role, each projected identity is connected to the depths of our being.  And for most of us, the depths of who we are aren’t always such a good place – but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The depths can be a beautiful place.  I think it’s scary for people because they do not spend much time down there.  It’s something that needs to be practiced.  But going to the depths make for richer experiences and relationships.

The quality of the relationship you have with yourself in the depths of your soul reflect the relationships you have with everyone else.
