Identity Trash

We went to a rummage sale today.  Check out some of the priceless identity artifacts up for sale today.

I saw a vest that I so wanted but since I didn’t see a price, I didn’t buy it.  When I first saw it, I thought – “Who would get rid of this?”  It was so cool.  Someone’s identity was represented by this artifact.  I wanted it to represent me.  That’s when it hit me, each one of these items was owned by someone at one point.  It represented them, but now it was time to get rid of them.

Sometimes because it no longer represents our identity.  Sometimes we just need a change.  Sometimes we just get to big and we don’t fit it any longer.

All your stuff represents you.  You can easily get rid of it as well.  What would you throw away?
