Whenever I log on to the dashboard of my blog, I many times will have a spam comment.

I’ll check it to make sure there are no false positives, and I am always amazed when I check to see how the spam comments really stroke my ego.  They write general statements and typically there’s one little piece of the comment that just doesn’t fit but boy do they make you feel really good about yourself when you read the comment.  When you approve the spam comment though, it opens the door for more spam and that just isn’t good.

Spammers are way smarter than I am, and I am way to into myself.  They know that.
