I am sure that could mean many different things.  I was confronted by this idea twice in the past 2 days, and both times it had to do with the fact that I eat meat.  If you are going to be a meat eater, you need to have the moral consistency of everything that comes with eating meat.  When you go to the grocery store, you see all this meat marinated or decorated in ice.  Even that might be hard for some, but eating meat means that an animal needed to give its life for your gastronomic pleasure.
