An employee once asked the president of the company – what did he did that eventually gave him the opportunity to become the president of the company.  The president said, “Make good decisions.”

Great advice, but as he thought more about it, he wondered how someone learns to make good decisions so he walked back up to the president to ask him.

He asked him, “How do I learn how to make good decisions.”

The president answered, “That’s easy.  Make tons of bad ones.”

There is only one way to learn how to make good decisions and that’s make a ton of bad ones.  Find someone who will provide you the opportunity to make tons of bad decisions so that you can learn how to make good ones.
