This is a new idea for me. I didn’t know this, and technically, I still want to do more research about this.
I was talking with a friend this morning, and they were explaining to me that someone that’s a picky eater might have some trust issues. As I understand it, typically it has to do with someone that has been controlled in their life and the only place where they can exercise control is what and how much they eat. It doesn’t always lead to an eating disorder, but the fact that they might be a picky eater might tell you that they have trust issues – or maybe that they simply had a tremendous amount of control placed in their life.
What are your thoughts? Does this ring true for you?
Yes. 🙂 but you already knew that… And I never thought of it till I grew up, read about it and heard from others with similar problems, and started forcing myself to try new things and not worry so much if my food touches… I am still working on being able to mix my food instead of fruit/veggies first, main dish, sides, beverage. It’s just habit to me now…
