Music and Dopamine

Good music releases dopamine.  Dopamine makes you happy.  Good music makes you happy.

It is a natural high.  It is a feel good chemical in our brain.  There is some good neuroscience explanations for why that happens, but you can go Google that on your own.  Sometimes I listen to a great song and it just makes me feel good.  There are some songs – even from my youth that still triggers some pretty good happy feelings.

Beat It by Michael Jackson – oh yeah.  Hahahaha.

I’m sure I could come up with a great list, but no matter what kind of music, if you connect to it, the dopamine shots in your brain will let you know.  Good music will make you happy.
