Identity and Another Place

There is a commercial on tv that I saw today about New Orleans.  The basic tagline had to do with the fact that you can find a different version of “you” if you were ever to visit.

I’ve driven through Louisiana, but I have never been to New Orleans.  I have never experienced it to know if there’s a different version of “you” that would come out if I were to visit.

It got me to thinking about some of the other places that would bring out a different “you.”  I think Vegas could do that.  I’ve been there.  I think Jamaica could change you.  I’ve been there.  I think a different version of “you” shows up when you go on vacation.

Another Place can bring out a different version of “you.”  That’s not a bad thing.

Facebook is Another Place that can bring out a different version of “you.”

Now, I want to point out that the operative word is CAN.  I’m not saying that it does always, but the possibility is always there.  If you don’t like who you are, go to Another Place for awhile.
