I recently heard a talk about mistakes.  The main point of the talk – mistakes lead to deeper understanding.

I kinda like that.

I like that better than this being a problem.  Don’t get me wrong.  I think mistakes can sometimes be problems, but I like how mistakes lead to deeper understanding a little better.

Mistakes happen.  Mistakes can be negative.   Sometimes mistakes can be accidental – or wait – can mistakes be on purpose.  If it is on purpose, it’s not really a mistake.

But deeper understanding – let’s talk about that.  Can you gain deeper understanding without making mistakes?  Sure.  But that’s not the issue is it.  Life is filled with mistakes.  Can you live life without making any mistakes?  Not possible.

I like that perspective.  I like that Mistakes can lead to deeper understanding.
